Australian Power Transmission/Australian Pulley Manufacturers are located in a 2500 square metre production facility. Our investment in state of the art machining centres means that we are equipped to provide services to all aspects of the heavy industrial sector. As per our product range, we can machine or fabricate a large variety of components.
Outlined below is a brief explanation of some of the technical capacities of our workshop. We are always investing in new technologies and would encourage you to contact us if you have any machining requirements.

VERTICAL BORERS
We can accurately machine those larger job requirements by use of our 5 large vertical boring machines. We can manage from the single components to large volume production runs. Typical applications for vertical boring might include machining internal bearing diameters in large castings or finish machining of cylindrical surfaces on very large workpieces.
Our largest vertical borer can machine up to 2100mm, with weights of up to 4000kg

We now have 5 CNC General Turning Machines. We operate 3 Samsung CNC Lathes with varying capacities, 1 Mazak Quick Turn and we have recently commissioned a new state-of-the-art Doosan Puma. This has increased our production capacity, offering our customers a broader range of products and improved lead times.
We can machine units up to 640mm in diameter and 2000mm in length.

With the capacity to perform up to 24 individual tooling tasks across three axis in synchronisation, our machining services provides efficiency, flexibility and precision for our clients.
The specifications can cater for a travel of X = 1050mm / Y = 510mm / Z = 560mm / Tool Capacity x 20

STEEL FABRICATION FACILITY
Australian Power Transmissions also are equipped for light to medium range steel fabrication within our large dedicated workshop. With general and custom fabrication we can weld, fold, drill and cut to create custom products to your designs.
